Has seven degus that she needs to find homes for.
Have two girls--they must be adopted together:
Doctor Girlfriend: Three-and-a-half years old, good health; slightly skittish but easily bribed with veggie treats. Friendly with her cagemate, Molitov. Sometimes responds to "D.G." Has had one litter of four babies, all lived. (was pregnant when she bought her.)
Molitov Cocktail: Three years old: good health, friendly. She is missing part of her tail (was mishandled by a pet-sitter during cage-cleaning), but it has not affected her temperament, mobility, etc. Responds to "Molly" but not well. Has never bred, littermate of Catclops, unrelated to DG.
Has five boys; they do not all need to be adopted by the same person, but prefers not to adopt out a single degu.
Catclops: Three years old, good health, friendly with people and the younger male degu. He is Molly's littermate, and has been a cagemate of the four younger males since they were weaned.
Hank, Dean, Brock, 23: Doctor Girlfriend's babies, raised since birth in a private residence. They are two years old, in good health, very friendly with people and other degus.
Brock and Hank are moderately hand-trained.
Dean sometimes enjoys being held (if sufficiently bribed with veggie treats)
23 is consistently inconsistent; sometimes he rushes to be held and have his ears petted, sometimes he won't set foot on her hand at all regardless of tempting treats.
Except 23, the boys don't know their names, because she a hard time keeping them apart. 23 is easily recognizable as being the one who is doing whatever the rest are NOT currently doing at any given moment.
She is giving them away for free, along with cages (large glass terrariums with cage toppers) and will throw in one large bag of food, and one bag of Critter Care cage litter. E-mail her to work out drop-off/pick-up, ask questions, etc.
Prefers they find homes in twos and threes, unless going to someone who already has (same sex) degus to be their cagemates.
Is willing to travel to bring the degus to people.

Is hoping to help save 100 or so degus that are in need of homes due to a lab closure.
Any animals who can’t find homes by the end of the week will be humanely euthanized.
Degus are sweet rodents and make good pets. They are very smart and active during the day.
Here’s a link to their wiki information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degu
The Humane Society will help facilitate the transfer of these animals.
If you are interested in taking on a pocket pet, or know anyone who is, please call
directly at (269) 963-1796, ext. 13.
Please forward this information on to your friends and family as well.

Has one 8 week old degu baby. He's fully weaned, and loves to be held. He was born alone so he'll have to be sold to a family experienced with degus, or who already own a degu and are looking for another one to own. Is selling him for $20.00. He also has a website www.deguinfo.weebly.com
